Christa Brokke (author and founder)

Christa BrokkeChrista (Dutch) is an entrepreneur with over 20 years working experience in communications / PR and training. Her strong interest in music/theatre led her to become a stage manager and producer of large productions (e.g. operas) in soccer stadiums in the Netherlands, France, Belgium and Germany, where she worked with artists from all over the world.
In September 2004, Christa moved with her family to Spain/Valencia, where she set up her relocation agency moving2valencia.
Christa is mother of Sofie (8) and Tomás (4). The bedtime stories she made up and reading to her children are the basis of Dreamy Tales.

Nienke Brokke (Illustrator)

Nienke BrokkeNienke Brokke (Dutch) studied theatre design at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. She designed scenery and costumes for opera and worked for ten years as an art director for children productions for the Dutch television. In her workshops she transmits to children and adults her love for tales in picture. Her drawings inspire her frequently to new tales, which she uses for animated cartoons. For Buddy Fish she drew the colorful illustrations with much fantasy. By their liveliness they invite to be examined again and again.

Leonie Vink (text and translations)

Leonie VinkLeonie (Dutch) is a longtime colleague and friend of Christa, with over 30 years of experience in writing. In 1994, she founded Words, etcetera, a business communications agency with corporate customers in the Netherlands and abroad. The company provides professional press-standard texts in both English and Dutch. In 2008, Leonie also embarked on a literary writing venture. She currently attends the University of Nijmegen where she studies linguistics.

Anneloes Spruyt (texts and translations)

Anneloes SpruytSince her (early) childhood, Anneloes has loved everything to do with language. She is a graduate in the Spanish Language and Literature, teaches Spanish and Dutch and is a court-accredited translator. She also writes and corrects Dutch texts – refining a text to the satisfaction of both writer and reader gives her a sense of great satisfaction. She is also able to advise anyone wishing to improve their language or text-writing skills. Her company name is Redigia.
